STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe in
-
The
inspiration of the Bible, equally in all
parts and without error in its origin.
-
The one God,
eternally existent Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit, who created man by a direct
immediate act.
-
The
pre-existence, incarnation, virgin birth,
sinless life, miracles, substitutionary
death, bodily resurrection, ascension to
Heaven, and the second coming of the Lord
Jesus Christ.
-
The fall of
man, the need of regeneration by the
operation of the Holy Spirit on the basis of
grace alone, and the resurrection of all to
life or damnation.
-
The spiritual
relationship of all believers in the Lord
Jesus Christ, living a life of righteous
works, separated from the world, witnessing
of His saving grace through the ministry of
the Holy Spirit.
-
Salvation
made possible only by a personal belief and
acceptance of the death and resurrection of
Jesus Christ. John 14:6
MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose
of W.H.C.A. is to act as an extension of the
Christian home. Deuteronomy 6:6-9 and Proverbs
22:6 state that the responsibility of training a
child is that of the parent; our Christian
school is a helper or sub-contractor of the
Christian home. Using biblical principles, it is
our purpose to lead all of our students to a
saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is
anticipated that our older students will already
be growing Christians and personally want to
come to W.H.C.A. Jesus said in Mark 8:36, “For
what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the
whole world and lose his own soul.” We plan to
partner with the parents to teach the children a
total way of life that is based on biblical
principles and which places Christ into the
center of a students’ life 24 hours a day in
every walk of life. Parent volunteerism is
welcome; students appreciate their families’
investment in their school.
